Our stories use research-aligned techniques to teach little ones important social-emotional skills. Through pro-active and supportive narratives, each collection is intentionally crafted to build resilient, caring, and confident children.

About Callie & Kelly Our business is the culmination of more than 20 years of friendship and a shared life passion for promoting early emotional learning. As mothers with backgrounds in family therapy and early education, we identified a need for intentional children’s products while on maternity leave together in 2016. Now we have the privilege of spreading the Slumberkins mission and preparing children to thrive in the modern world.​

It all started when two innovative and caring dads joined forces to bring nursery essentials to parents and caregivers with a line that’s kind to people, the planet, and your pocketbook! Today, we’re the go-to source for exceptional baby shower gifts and baby registry must-haves to keep babies safe and happy from day one.

Our “dadpreneurer” founders are genuinely vested in child rearing, raising five kids between them, and ensuring that other young families can conveniently find beautifully made, affordable, and environmentally-friendly products. They get how important this is to everyday life. Must-haves such as burp cloths and swaddles help days go a little smoother, providing a smile to a little one's face and that of their hard-working parents. ​

As a graphic designer with a background in Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, Surya along with Dave who was a teacher, was fascinated by the idea of helping our baby’s brain develop by literally playing with visuals. We built a fun and creative world of animals and nature themes, thoughtfully designed to entertain and educate. We take into account each stage of child development to encourage learning through play. Each of our safe and sustainable learning toys for babies are founded on years of research to support your little one’s growing mind.

With over 25 years of successful experience in the toy industry, our challenge today is to create and propose high-quality toys with entertaining, educational, and safety values. We designed our own wooden toy collection Speedy Monkey (FSC certified C106279 - protecting healthy, resilient forests for all, forever), offering premium toys that combine contemporary lifestyle designs adapted to traditional toys. We also select from around the world, renowned brands for distribution across the US market, such as Moulin Roty. This is a famous French brand that has been specialized in nursery, toy, and birth gifts since 1972. As Pascal BERNARD, Founder and President of Speedy Monkey would say: "Of course, a toy should have a developmental characteristic but we also take pride in making sure children have fun and let their imagination fly away..."
